Gum bichromate, curve software and new products

This month has been busy. I've been revisiting gum bichromate (dichromate) with a view to running a couple of workshops this year if there is enough interest. The gum images will be made using digital negatives. I'm currently beta testing Squeeze for Pierre-Olivier Tavernier who has completely rewritten the coding for his software. One big advantage of Squeeze is that Photoshop isn't needed to produce the curves required for alternative and historical photographic processes.

Other news is the expansion of our wetplate collodion hardware range. Now, as well as silver boxes and plate racks we sell fixer boxes, kits and printing frames. All of these items are built to order and shipped from the Czech Republic. Delivery directly to you is normally less than ten days.
